Blood Bikes Wales are an award winning Charity based in Wales, I had the honour to design, build and manage the official Blood Bikes Wales website.
Blood Bikes Wales is a 100% volunteer-run charity providing free courier services to the NHS across Wales — delivering essential items such as blood samples, plasma, donated human milk, documents, and more. It’s been a privilege to work with such an incredible organisation.
I’ve designed, built, and managed the Blood Bikes Wales website for several years, maintaining a strong ongoing relationship with the charity. The project began with a custom design created in Figma, which I then developed using WordPress and the Divi site builder, with additional custom code where needed to fine-tune the experience.
The use of Divi allows the team at Blood Bikes Wales to easily update and customise their own site content without needing technical knowledge, ensuring the site remains flexible and manageable long-term. The website is hosted on my servers via SiteGround, where I continue to oversee its performance, updates, and security as part of ongoing support.
